Copywriting is an essential element of any kind of marketing, whether digital or traditional. It is simply the art (and science) of writing persuasively to move people through the customer journey to a sale. Copywriting is the first skill I learned and the one that started me on the journey of learning marketing and it’s related skill stack.

Experience

My interest in copywriting started in 2015, just a couple years out of high school. Since that time I’ve put in hundreds of hours of practice and further study spanning everything from writing social media copy and email copy to even B2B focused copy. I’ve written copy for websites, emails, and social media posts on behalf of clients. I’ve also written SEO-focused content pieces such as articles and blog posts.

What’s Next

I am planning to continue developing my copywriting skills through more targeted coursework and practice in areas such as B2B copywriting, SEO copywriting, case studies, etc.
