Digital Marketing is a wide and varied discipline and while I don’t claim to be an expert in all areas, I am constantly working to learn and improve to grow my skillset and continue to develop my expertise.
Training & Certifications
While I have no formal training beyond a small amount of coursework completed as a part of my degree, I have spent many hours learning from experts in the field through unofficial channels such as Youtube, blogs, and books.
Experience
Over the past few years, I’ve worked with a variety of clients on many kinds of digital marketing projects—from building websites and writing SEO content to managing social media and setting up email automations. I’ve had hands-on experience with content creation, paid ads (especially on Meta), and putting together marketing strategies that actually connect. My goal is always to make things clear, consistent, and effective—without overcomplicating the process. I have varied amounts of experience with the following:
- social media management
- email auto-responders
- website building (block building)
- SEO content creation
- content creation & marketing
- paid ads (Meta)
What’s Next
Within the next 12 months I intend to go deeper in my understanding of:
- SEO (including the new standards in the AI era)
- Branding
- Paid Ads/media buying (Meta & Google)
- Video Editing & short-form content for social media
I’m also planning to complete a digital marketing certification through Google to lock-down the fundamentals of digital marketing and review what might have changed in the last few years.

Testimonial
This was a job I did for a local client who needed website help. This involved troubleshooting, some light block-based development, and SEO/content development for her website.
I hired a professional web designer a few years ago to create a website for my piano teaching business. I didn’t do much with it, and not surprisingly, it didn’t do much for me. The website attracted a few new students, but not as many as I wanted.
I mentioned this to Linnea at a social gathering, and out of curiosity she took the initiative to look at it. She gave me ideas on how to make it more attractive, engaging, and user friendly. We talked about how to attract not just students, but the right kind of students for me.
I hired Linnea at a very reasonable rate. She brought technological expertise as well as a creative flare that has brought me more students than I have room for. This has resulted in a waiting list of potential students, which will eventually lead to an increase in my rates. It was well worth the cost of hiring a professional to guide me through some necessary steps to improve upon the original design.
Linnea also equipped me with the skills and knowledge to keep my website fresh and current so that I can continue attracting potential students. I highly recommend Linnea. She is honest, hardworking, professional, communicative, and passionate about her work.
